Why Your Support Matters:
During Smile Cookie Week, communities across Canada come together to support local charities and the people they serve. In Collingwood, your support helps children with physical disabilities access the mobility and accessibility equipment they need for greater independence and participation in everyday life. It also gives them the opportunity to attend Easter Seals Ontario’s accessible summer camp this summer.
What Your Support Makes Possible

14-year-old Chloe has grown up using mobility equipment supported by Easter Seals Ontario. With a love for cheerleading, dance, and horseback riding, Chloe continually demonstrates her ability to shine in anything she sets her mind to. Currently in Grade 9, Chloe dreams of becoming a teacher. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with friends and playing on her iPad.
Chloe is looking forward to attending Easter Seals camp for her ninth year this upcoming summer. She gushes, “I love camp. It’s something I look forward to every year.” Chloe treasures camp as a place where she has experienced countless special moments, including the celebration of her past two birthdays.
Her story is one example of what happens when children have access to the equipment and opportunities they need early in life. Your Smile Cookie helps make more stories like Chloe’s possible.
