On Tuesday, July 25, 2017 Easter Seals Ontario will host its annual Celebrity Skate for Easter Seals Kids at the Thunder Bay Tournament Centre. Raise a minimum of $50 in pledges to join the fun and excitement of skating with local NHL players while raising funds for children and youth with physical disabilities. Prizes will be awarded to the top three fundraisers donated by our local businesses! Spot skate prizes will be awarded throughout the event! Autograph opportunities will take place after the skate, one autograph per player per child participating!
For the past 94 years, Easter Seals has played an important role in providing support for children and youth with physical disabilities from all ethnic and religious backgrounds. Thanks to its generous donors, Easter Seals continues to offer programs to allow kids to experience freedom, independence and a sense of accomplishment. Easter Seals helps by providing financial assistance for mobility equipment, communication devices and summer camp opportunities at its two fully accessible properties, Camp Merrywood and Camp Woodeden. Together we are helping kids BE KIDS.
Reminders:
Registration begins at 4:00 p.m. at Thunder Bay Tournament Centre. Bring your completed pledge form and pledge money with you. NO pre-registration required.
Don’t forget to bring your skates and helmet (we will NOT have any available)
There will be an opportunity to receive autographs from the local NHL stars. ONE item only per player for autographs.
