The Magna Hoedown is York Region’s biggest annual party for a cause. For the past three decades, the event has united residents to raise over $14 million in support of charitable organizations. Although the event is on pause until 2022, Magna is remaining committed to the spirit and tradition of this great event. This year, the Magna Hoedown Community Fund will generously offer a contribution to 30 local charities that collectively help more than 181,000 York Region residents.
Easter Seals has been chosen as one of the local charities that will receive support from the Magna Hoedown Community Fund. Easter Seals has been fortunate enough to have received support from Magna for the last few years. This year’s contribution will allow Easter Seals to continue making a difference in the lives of children and youth with physical disabilities, helping them to achieve greater independence, dignity and freedom in their daily lives.
