Ahoy All Boaters!

Join us for one of Kingston’s most loved summer traditions as Easter Seals Ontario proudly presents the Summerfest Regatta in partnership with the Kingston Yacht Club on Saturday, July 4, from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM on the beautiful Kingston waterfront!

This year is especially exciting as we launch our very first Swim the Lake Open Water Swim in support of Easter Seals Ontario before continuing into our long-standing Summerfest Regatta celebration. We are incredibly proud of our ongoing partnership with the Kingston Yacht Club and the amazing community that comes together year after year to support children and youth with physical disabilities across our region.

The day will begin with our Swim the Lake event, featuring swimmers taking on the stunning waters of Lake Ontario in support of the 147 local families Easter Seals currently serves throughout Southeastern Ontario. We are inviting regatta participants and boaters to be part of our “Safety Hug” around our swimmers by volunteering their boats to help ensure a safe and successful swim experience. Any regatta participant who registers as an official Swim Support Boat will receive a $50 charitable tax receipt toward their $150 regatta entry fee.

Following the swim, the waterfront celebration continues with all the favourite Summerfest traditions our community has come to love:

  • Regatta races across the Kingston waterfront
  • Live music and entertainment
  • BBQ and refreshments
  • Local vendors and community partners
  • Family activities and waterfront fun
  • The Kingston Rowing Club is joining the festivities
  • Opportunities to learn more about Easter Seals and the life-changing impact your support provides

Whether you’re registering a boat, volunteering on the water, swimming, sponsoring, or simply bringing your family down to enjoy an unforgettable summer day on the lake, your support helps provide essential mobility and accessibility equipment and services for children in our community.

Come celebrate community, inclusion, and summer on the waterfront — all while helping Easter Seals kids thrive. We can’t wait to see you there!
