The Annual Canadian Computer Charity Golf Classic for 2020 has been cancelled. We will be back in 2021!
A message from our Committee Chair, Frank Squizzato:
As many of you know, the Annual Canadian Computer Charity Golf Classic (CCCGC) is unable to take place this year due to COVID-19. The safety of our colleagues, participants, friends and family is of the utmost importance. The cancellation of this event, and many other Easter Seals fundraising events, however, will have a direct impact on the children and youth we serve; making it more difficult to access the essential mobility and accessibility equipment they need to live safely at home.
Being in isolation has been difficult for everyone, but can you imagine not even being able to move around freely within your home?
Each year the CCCGC raises funds to help Easter Seals purchase essential equipment and send kids to their two fully accessible summer camps. This year, the need for accessibility and mobility equipment is more urgent than ever. So we have come up with a few different ways you can help:
The Canadian Computer Charity Golf Classic 2020 Online Auction
We have many great items available just in time for back to school! This online auction will be open on August 1, 2020. An email will be sent out with the link to the auction website, as well as weekly reminders and updates as new items are added. This auction will remain live for three weeks. If you would like to donate an item please contact Lauren Squizzato at email@example.com. Your logo and website link will be added to the sponsor page.
Thank you kindly for your support, and if you have already sent in an item, we very much appreciate your generosity.
The Foursome Shop:
We are selling foursomes to a few very exclusive Clublink courses. A must-have experience for any avid golfer, as these courses are usually booked months in advance! This would make a great present for the upcoming holiday season, which will be here before you know it.
Each foursome will include carts and a lunch certificate for your group. Please note that these foursomes are for the 2021 golfing season.
a) Glen Abbey Golf Club – Foursome + Lunch (carts and taxes included) – $1,100.00
b) Greystone Golf Club – Foursome + Lunch (carts and taxes included) – $950.00
c) Rocky Crest Golf Resort – Foursome + Lunch (carts and taxes included) – $700.00
If you would like to purchase a foursome for the 2021 season, please reach out to Lauren Squizzato at firstname.lastname@example.org and she will facilitate your booking and payment.
Easter Seals Ontario currently has a waiting list of 1.2 million dollars in equipment funding requests that we are unable to fulfill. Your support, now more than ever, is so important to the kids and the families we serve. We have created a Computer Golf Donation page, which can be accessed here. If you did budget for this event and would still like to support Easter Seals kids, we urge you to consider donating your sponsor/foursome dollars. Each and every donation will receive an automatic tax receipt to their email. Your support means everything to us and to the kids and families we serve. Thank you for everything you do.
