Bear Creek Golf Course, Utopia
Come on out and join us on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, as Bear Creek Golf Course and Easter Seals Ontario present 100 Holes of Golf. In this new annual event, four teams of eight golfers will play 100 holes of golf in one day. Each team of eight will be divided into two foursomes, with one foursome playing 54 holes and the other foursome playing 45; collectively playing 100 holes of golf.
Participants are encouraged to raise funds prior to the event to help support programs and services that benefit children and youth with physical disabilities. Fundraising can take any form, but a popular method is to have friends and family pledge a certain amount per hole (e.g. $10 per hole x 54 holes).
As excited as we are to move forward in reopening and returning to in-person events, it is important to note that Easter Seals families continue to face immediate challenges for their children such as long waits for appointments with therapists and other services, the exorbitant cost of equipment along with very few options for equipment funding assistance. Easter Seals continues to be one of the only places they can turn for help. Your support and participation in this event will truly make a difference in the lives of the children and families we serve.
Words alone cannot express enough how much we appreciate those of you who are willing to participate to help Easter Seals kids get the equipment they need to live with greater freedom, dignity and independence in their daily lives.
*We will be following all Provincial and local Public health precautions and guidelines and implementing safety protocols to ensure a positive and safe participant experience at all of our events.
