Date and time coming soon!

Easter Seals Telethon 2008

The 25th annual Easter Seals Telethon broadcast on CBC television Sunday, April 6th, 2008

Thanks to your support, Easter Seals Ontario announces a provincial tote of $4,302,526. This total is the result of 12 months of province-wide fundraising and sponsorship activity for Easter Seals Ontario. Most importantly, we took ground in preventing a future waiting list for financial assistance in 2008!

Families rely on Easter Seals to help purchase expensive equipment needed for mobility and communication, send kids to camp and other recreational programs, and provide access to information and resources.

You may have “met” 9 year-old Taigan Wubs at the 2008 Easter Seals Telethon:

Taigan was born with caudal regression syndrome, walks on her hands, and when she’s tired asks others to push her manual wheelchair for her. For Taigan, camp is “awesome!” Taigan captured many hearts on Sunday, and looks forward to attending Easter Seals camp next summer - with your help.

At the core of Easter Seals is a common passion for caring, shared by all who support its mission.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the annual Easter Seals Telethon. The support of donors, corporate sponsors, families, volunteers, crew and enthusiastic phone panelists has paid off for children and youth with physical disabilities and their families.
