Easter Seals Ontario is a registered Canadian charity, with a mandate to provide assistance specifically to children and youth with long-term physical disabilities for essential equipment and fully accessible camping and recreation programs.
Is your child eligible to be registered with Easter Seals Ontario?
Yes, if your child is under the age of 19 years, is a legal resident of Ontario, has a long-term physical disability that restricts independent mobility and has an impact on performing daily living activities. The child must be using a mobility device such as a walker or wheelchair to be mobile.
Eligibility does not extend to children with a primary diagnosis of developmental disabilities such as Autism or a correctable condition.
Please be advised that if you are registered with the Incontinence Supplies Grant Program, this is a grant that we administer on behalf of the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and is completely separate from Easter Seals Ontario’s funding for equipment and recreation. If you want to apply for the Incontinence Supplies Grant Program (Diaper Grant) please complete and submit the application for this program.
