Although Easter Seals has been able to commit more funds to our Equipment Funding Program this year over 2016, due to the overwhelming demand from families, all of these funds have been fully allocated and families are being placed on a waitlist for equipment funding.
Easter Seals Ontario raises all funds for its programs and services from public donations, including individual donors, corporations and foundations, and receives no government funding.
If funds become available before the end of 2017 due to request cancellations, waitlisted families will be contacted.
If funds DO NOT become available before the end of the year, those on the waitlist will need to:
Contact our equipment funding coordinator in January 2018 with confirmation that they have not received the requested item.
Families will not need to re-send the Easter Seals Request for Financial Assistance, letter of support OR ADP information. Easter Seals will use the original information from 2017.
Those families who contact us in January 2018 and confirm that they have not received the item, will be notified of a decision by the end of January.
Only those who have not purchased/received the equipment are eligible to have the request reviewed in January 2018. Please note, Easter Seals does not provide funding for equipment if it has already been received and/or purchased.
