The 2019 Upper Canada Easter Seals Run 5k & 10k Walk and Roll 5k will be held at Newmarket Riverwalk Commons on Sunday, May 26 at 200 Doug Duncan Drive in downtown Newmarket. The race venue will provide a fun, family-friendly atmosphere, while also delivering a flat, fast and scenic run course through Fairy Lake Park and the Tom Taylor Trail system.
Founded by Newmarket resident, Joe Persechini, the Upper Canada Easter Seals Run 5k & 10k Walk and Roll 5k is York Region’s longest running fundraiser for children and youth with physical disabilities. Over the past 42 years, this popular community event has become an indelible fixture in York Region, raising nearly $3.2 million to help children and youth with physical disabilities.
