Conn Smythe Sports Celebrities Dinner & Auction
The Rogers Conn Smythe Sports Celebrities Dinner & Auction is Canada’s most successful and prestigious sports dinner. Started in 1951 by a group of sportscasters and sportswriters to kick-off Easter Seals’ annual fundraising campaign, the dinner was renamed in 1980 following the death of long time Easter Seals supporter, Conn Smythe. The star studded occasion has seen some of the world’s greatest athletes grace its stage and continues to draw the biggest names in sports. The event’s silent auction is considered Canada’s best and largest sports memorabilia auction with more than 300 items.
